What you agree to

These terms are the agreement between you and ApplyDojo. The site is applydojo.com.

By creating an account, or by paying for Pro or credits, you agree to these terms and to the privacy notice. If you do not agree, do not use the product.

What the product is

ApplyDojo stores one base CV, scores job text you paste or that we can fetch, and drafts a tailored CV, a cover letter, or interview questions from that record. You can track applications on a board and download a PDF.

It is a writing aid. It is not a recruiter, a lawyer, or a promise that you will be interviewed or hired.

The licence we give you

We give you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use the site for your own job search, while these terms last. You may not sell, rent, or sublicense access, or run the product for other people as a service.

You may not copy the site’s code, reverse engineer it, or strip out notices that say the product is ours. The layouts, the wording of the product, and the software stay ours. The CV you upload, and the drafts you keep, stay yours.

What you bring

You need to be able to form a contract, which in England and Wales means you are 18 or over. Upload only a CV you have the right to use. Do not upload someone else’s career history, or a posting you are not allowed to copy into the product.

You are responsible for what you send to an employer. We rewrite from your CV, and we can still be wrong. A tidy line can miss the point, or lean too hard on one job. Read every line before you download it or send it. Nothing in a draft is a fact until you have checked it against your own record.

If you send us a suggestion about the product, we may use it to improve ApplyDojo, without owing you a fee for the idea.

Free, Pro, and credits

A free account can track 20 applications. It includes 3 tailored CVs in each calendar month, one cover letter, and one interview set. Match scores are not rationed. Ten CV layouts and a PDF download come with every account.

Pro is a monthly subscription, billed at the price shown on the payment page. The price on the site today is £8 a month. Credit packs are bought once. A pack of 20 credits is £10. One credit is one tailoring, one cover letter, or one interview set. Credits stay on the account until you spend them. They do not raise the free limit of 20 applications.

If you share your referral link and another person creates an account with it, you receive 5 credits when they confirm their email. That reward is limited to 10 confirmed referrals in a calendar month. We may withhold it if the signup is the same person, or if the account is used to collect credits without a genuine job search. Referral credits are not cash and are not refunded.

A payment only counts when it is confirmed. The page you return to after checkout does not grant access on its own. Documents and plan access are supplied as soon as that confirmation arrives, because that is when you asked us to start. Your card agreement is with the card issuer, not with us. We do not store your full card number. You are responsible for any fee your bank adds.

You can cancel Pro in the billing portal. Cancellation stops the next renewal. It does not erase documents you already have. Credits you have already spent are not refunded, except where the law says they must be. If a paid feature fails to arrive, email us from the address on your account and we will put it right or refund that charge.

We may change prices. A change to Pro applies from the next renewal, and we will say so on the pricing page before that renewal is taken. These terms do not take away rights you have under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Other people’s sites

A job link can point at LinkedIn, a company careers page, or anywhere else. Those sites are not ours. If a fetch fails, paste the text. We are not responsible for what an employer publishes, or for whether their form accepts your PDF.

Scoring, rewriting, and interview questions are produced with an AI provider, OpenAI by default. Their service can be slow, wrong, or unavailable. That does not make a draft into advice you can send without reading it.

If something goes wrong

We may suspend an account that abuses the service, tries to break it, shares one login across a team, or uploads something you have no right to process. You can stop using ApplyDojo at any time, and you can delete the account from your settings. Deleting the account ends this agreement, apart from clauses that still need to apply, such as payment records we must keep.

We may change, pause, or remove a feature. We will not do that in a way that takes away a document you have already paid for without offering a refund of the unused part, where the law requires it.

The product is provided with reasonable care and skill. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, that every score will be right, or that a PDF will pass every hiring system. Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any right that English law does not allow us to exclude. Subject to that, our liability in a year is limited to the amount you paid us in that year, or £50 if you paid nothing.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales hear disputes, without taking away any right you have to bring a claim in your local court as a consumer.

If a clause cannot be enforced, the rest still stands. We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page and changing the date above. If a change is material, we will also tell you by email or in the product before it applies to a renewal. Continued use after that date is acceptance of the new terms.
