How it works

Match the CV to the job, then follow it through.

There is no separate profile to fill in. Your CV is the record. The job is what your CV is scored against. The board is where you keep track of what you actually did.

    Create an account

    Your name, your email, and a password. Confirm the email, then choose Free, Pro, or a credit pack. That choice is the gate before the CV.

  2. 02

    Upload one base CV

    PDF or Word. ApplyDojo reads that file and nothing else about your career. You can replace it later. The new file becomes the source.

  3. 03

    Paste a job

    The full posting, or a link. If the link fails, paste the text. Some sites will not open for a fetch, and the words are what matter.

    Read the match

    You get a score and the requirements you do not meet. A weak fit can stay in Saved. Skipping is a normal outcome.

  5. 05

    Tailor when the fit is real

    You see the old line and the new line. Accept or reject each one. A rewrite with no source on your CV is refused. Nothing is added to flatter the posting.

  6. 06

    Move the card

    Applied brings a cover letter. Interview brings questions, and a place for what you want to say. Offer is where you upload the offer letter or employment contract, as a PDF or Word file. A review uses 4 credits, checks that it is an employment engagement, and sets out whether it favours you, what to question, what to clarify, and what to change. On Pro that review is included. Download the PDF when you are ready to send it.

The new line still has to be yours.

Each suggested line has to name the bullet it came from. You still read it. A tidy sentence can be true and still be the wrong emphasis, so reject it if it does not sound like you.

The PDF uses one of ten layouts, on A4 or US Letter. Downloading a document you already have does not spend another tailoring, letter, or interview set.

Then you go to the interview as yourself.

The questions are there to practise against the posting and your own CV. They are not a script to recite. Write what you would actually say, in the note on the card, before the day.
